Personality Bio

I have been involved in sports radio and just radio in general for a long time. I got my start in sports radio in town as a color analyst/play by play guy for a year plus on the Kingfish Hockey Network. I was the broadcaster for the Baton Rouge Riverbats of the Southeastern League of Professional Baseball for one season. When the team became extinct, I started a 3 year stint as the play by play announcer for the Riverbat Collegiate Baseball League. I have been a show host on The Score 1210 AM as well as a Co-Host of the Tiger Express LSU Pregame Show on WJBO. You can also hear me 12a-5a on WYNK.

Clarification from Ricky Jean-Francois on his quote that appeared in the Orlando Sentinel today:

“We never go into any football game trying to hurt a player from the other team. My comments in regard to Florida quarterback Tim Tebow were misinterpreted and were intended to reflect the style of football that we play at LSU. We have great respect for Tim as player and a competitor. By taking him out of the game, I meant as a defense we are going to try to make him ineffective. I’m sorry that my initial comments were interpreted another way.”
